Roy Lucian Baza

Info: Roy Lucian Baza, 27, is a Singer-Songwriter, originally from San Francisco, CA, now based out of Los Angeles, CA. Born in 1995, Roy's parents hail from the Pacific Island of Guam. Roy first emerged onto the music scene in 2007 at the ripe age of 12. Under the stage name, Dom Baza, he has worked with respected producers, Doug Chancellor and James Earley. In 2014 Roy’s career was put on pause as he was diagnosed with the eye disease, Glaucoma. He has received 7 surgeries and is still in active treatment, but is stable enough to return to what he does best, writing and creating music.

As of 2021, Roy has been working on his debut album featuring 11 brand new, self-written original songs that cover the basis of the years he has been away from the music scene. The album is produced by Ben Wilkins and is accompanied by a full-length visual film directed by Anthony Rojas. The album and film were both released in April 2022.

Info: "CERVANTES"💋 consists of 6 amazing musicians who have been blessed to travel around the World now collectively we Unite together Sharing, "Giving our Blessings" in Music to All, playing Cover music of many genre's from Classic Rock, Rock, Disco, Funk,Pop, R&B, Latin Rock, Cumbia the list goes on.

I named my band "CERVANTES " in memory of my Father who also was a musician he always wanted me to pursue our Passion in music I believe it's in the genes unfortunately for me he passed on so I carry his memory at all times.

"CERVANTES " brings you Music you instantly Smile and start Moving too the Passion is undeniable we'll Get you off your seat every time!!! We are Blessed to be playing in and out of State... My Dream is to put as many Smiles and Peace that I can across the Globe. 🌎

Queer Taiko

Info: Queer Taiko, founded in 2013 by Kristy Oshiro (they/them), is a multi-cultural and intergenerational group of LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies committed to building community, representation, and visibility through Japanese Taiko drumming. Based in Oakland, the group meets on Friday nights and is always accepting new members and drop-ins. No experience is necessary and all equipment is provided. Founder and Artistic Director Kristy Oshiro is a queer non-binary 4th generation Japanese-Okinawan American and has over 30 years of taiko experience. Joining our group on Meetup is free and all of our events listed there are sliding scale.

KINGQUEEN

KingQueen is a LA based pop-rock band. The band was formed by by lead singer Ina aka Sabrina Petrini and consists of Adam Gimenez, Brandon Valerino, Jake Absher and Ella G. Burgos. The band has been seen on multiple platforms such as MTV, VH1, OutAt TV, Revry TV and American Music Awards.

In 2019, KQ released their EP "Get Loud" and music videos for both "Running In Water" and “One Day”. “Running in Water” had it’s premiere and screening at the 2019 QueerX film festival. KingQueen has been nominated for best pop at the LA Music awards, best pop song at HMMA Awards, and won "music video of the year" at IndieNation Awards. They've been performing live at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA, Long Beach Pride main stage, Out Web Fest, The Viper Room, OC Fair, DTLA Proud, Pershing Square main stage, Out At The Fair Tour, LA Fashion Week, The Whisky a Go Go (opening for Royal Distortion, former Barb Wire Dolls), The Troubadour (opening for Kat Cunning and Jax in support of Fan Girl Cafe) and more.

In the end of 2020 KQ released a music video for their single "Roller Coaster" which earned a nomination for 'Rock song of the year' at the 2021 Hollywood In Media Awards, 'Best Music Video' at the Munich Music Video Awards and won the 'Best Band' award at the International Music Video Underground awards in Paris.

In the beginning of 2021 KingQueen signed a record deal with Curtain Call Records and released their single "Live It Up". The song had it's radio debut on 95.5 KLOS Heidi and Frank Show. The music video came out in June and was nominated for 'Best Music Video Of The Year' at the QueerX Festival, Ojo Movil Fest & Noble International Film Festival And Awards!! ⁣In 2021 KQ also got endorsed by Eargasm and Xvive Audio.

KingQueen recently joined the roster of 'LA Rock Collective'. The first event was held at Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood in January of 2022 and they appeared on Spectrum News. KQ's official EP release party hosted by Blurred Culture will be held at Madame Siam on April 28th. KQ is going on a West Coast tour starting in June ending in August promoting their self-titled EP KingQueen.
